A ZOMBIE COMEDY SET IN THE
TEXAS HILL COUNTRY
Shot in and around San Antonio in 2014, this was our first feature film made with just enough experience and fearlessness that comes from not knowing what you don't know. The 17-day shoot ran through a January cold snap that iced over bridges and snarled traffic across the city, but we kept rolling. We got our hands on a Phantom camera for the high-speed sequences (ever seen a bong smash to pieces at 1000fps?), and leaned hard on an incredibly talented team for in-camera VFX and zombie makeup that still holds up.
